Forest (from): Camp, Halford, Ayala, Collins, Harding, Gillett, Cohen, McGugan, Reid, Majewski, Sharp, Evtimov, Lansbury, Moloney, Jenas, Moussi, Coppinger, Greening, Lascelles.

Team news: Forest will be without no fewer than three players through suspension, with Dexter Blackstock starting the first of a three-match ban, Adlene Guedioura sitting out the last of his and Simon Cox missing one game for collecting his fifth booking.

Marcus Tudgay had surgery on a hernia last week and will be out until after the international break and Sam Hutchinson is still struggling with his knee problem, which remains inflamed despite an injection.

Jermaine Jenas may be involved in the squad for the first time, but is still only likely to be handed a place among the substitutes, as he is short of match fitness.

Blackburn: Robinson, Orr, Dann, Olsson, Givet, Hanley, Etuhu, Pedersen, Murphy, Lowe, Rhodes, Gomes, Dunn, Nunes, Formica, Kean, Ribeiro, Rochina.

Team news: Blackburn do not have any particular injury problems ahead of the game, although there remains a question mark over Gael Givet.

The 30-year-old French defender was substituted at half-time against Charlton on Saturday, with caretaker boss Eric Black later revealing that the player had not suffered an injury and that it had been a tactical decision.

Danger man: Jordan Rhodes.

The striker has already netted a decisive goal against Forest this season, securing a point for Huddersfield with an injury time penalty.

His strike record for the Terriers was enough to persuade Blackburn to part with £8m for the 22-year-old before deadline day. He has already netted three goals in five appearances for Rovers.

“Well done Florist 0-0 was a perfect result for us blue boys!
That's what happens when you're down near the bottom, you can help the likes of us at the top by keeping our nearest rivals at bay but guess you already knew that as you've been down there for a few seasons now?
When are ya all gonna wake up and smell the coffee concerning your new owners???
Such a great squad that soon as you have a couple of attackers out through suspension your only recognised striker is that muppet Sharp who couldn't find the back of the net even with a sat nav strapped to his wrist!
You've all been brainwashed by the Al- HaHaHaHasawis
that you've got a great squad when really its paper thin with the odd old boy thrown in (signed WITHOUT O'Dr-is-dulllllls knowledge by all accounts) to divert your attention from the fact that you're now showing relegation form and it's working.
Never mind though just keep telling ya selves '5 year plan' '5 year plan' '5 year plan' and if that don't work just do as that muppet jollycarrol does... Seek comfort in the good old days till your eyes fill with tears at the thought of those two, yes TWO, back to back European cups!”

“I think the key tonight will be getting the first goal - it's 5 games since we scored first - and an early Blakcburn goal will put added pressure on our players, as another defeat will leave us rooted in the Bottom 6. Have to say that I'd take a point now just to steady the ship a bit - and Blackburn will IMO be Top 6 this season - there's too much talent in that squad for them not to be, so a point v Blackburn is more than a lot of clubs will get.”

“Well our midfield certainly needs to come to the party tonight if after all those signings we can only muster one forward. Just hope Billy Sharp doesn't get an early knock.
Lets get it down and play tonight and let Blackburn worry about us, not the other way round.”
