Nottingham Forest fans want to see the club add a right winger
BILLY Davies revealed he is still looking at potential loan signings to bring to Nottingham Forest – and the fans believe they do need to add to their squad. We asked our readers if they needed to strengthen and, if so, in what position. And you responded online by saying you'd like to see the Reds add a right winger on loan before the window closes on March 28. Over a thousand fans voted and only 10 per cent felt Forest did not need to make any new additions. But of those who did feel signings were necessary, almost 50 per cent wanted to see Davies swoop for a right-sided midfielder.

“Cricfree.tv - Tends to cover The Football League show feature Championship matches like Derby vs Leicester recently. So Forest vs Leicester is a virtual dead cert to be covered.
Lots more Premiership matches covered, so if we go up. those of us that cannot travel to away matches will be able to watch them most weeks.”

“If I had my way McGugan would've been signed up a year ago, it is a ludicrous situation.
As an Ipswich fan said to me recently totally unprompted - "Lewis McGugan is the best player in The Championship!"
Now I wouldn't quite go that far, but if his undoubted potential & talent can be harnessed (under Billy) then he can achieve great things.
Put it this way, there is no way we should be allowing players like Lewis to see out their contracts!
That is just rank bad management!”

“RedWaterfall - No I don't; I think people know the squad & their team & have been watching all season not just since Reyes has been here.
Ward, Reyes & Henderson are all here on loan with a view to permanent deals in the summer (think that will largely depend upon if we get promoted?).
Only my opinions but: -
I think Reyes is good enough no matter where we're playing next season.
Ward has been our best & most consistent centre back since he came back in January (Collin's has had poor games & Halford's been suspended), he's scored a couple of goals, been a rock in defence (especially in the air) & 7 matches unbeaten & 2 promotions to The Premiership (West Ham & Norwich) testify he has quality. All too easy to label him as big & slow - simply unfair.
I think we're only just starting to see what Henderson is capable of.
He has always scored against Forest (Sheff Utd, Watford & Millwall) He is strong, powerful, gets in where it hurts (in the box unlike others) and is a real handful that defenders just do not like playing against. He has great movement, never stops & has a knack of popping up in the box.
I think he'll do a job & score goals whichever division he plays in.
The LB position can be dealt with in the summer, Cohen's playing well there (6 in a row!) & we've got Harding to come in or Halford &/or Hutchinson can play there as well.
If there going to add another loan signing then it may as well be where we really need it & we simply do not or haven't had a natural right winger in the squad since Anderson & McLeary left in the Summer.
Right side / right wing is the glaring gap in the whole squad as any season ticket holder will tell you; has been all season! I have heard / read that Stephen McLaughlin can play on either flank, he certainly did for Derry City (according to him in interviews).
That said, the way we're playing with the midfield diamond we could probably manage without the addition.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
Let's make The City Ground Rock against Brighton.
YOU REDS!”

“Two ways to look at it, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Also, best time to get new players in is when your in a position of strength.
Whatever Billy does, this is great time to be a Forest fan and we should all enjoy, the fire that is in Billy's belly is infectious, the players, fans and the owners are all buzzing atm.
COYR!!!”

“RedWaterfall:
Spot on regarding Jara Reyes and Ward. Must haves, no doubt about it. I've only managed to see the Derby match (I don't live in England and I do not trust many 'streaming' channels) but I instantly thought Reyes is a class act.
Has anyone any advice about good streaming sites/channels? I'm missing out and I need to correct that.
Cheers.”
