“DCFCOK - you are a sensible poster and, even as a Derby fan, are welcome on here to discuss football topics and our respective clubs. Unlike Snenny and paul72 who cut and paste the same drivel purely to incite a reaction. As so called Derby fans I'm sure they must be an embarrassment to you.”

“DCFCOK Nice to hear that there are normal people in Derby. I was beginning to fear the worst. I have to admit I do not have a great knowledge of Derby. But I think Nigel is doing an OK job. Seems to me he has no money to spend. They have surprised me this year as I expected them to be lower, although I didn't think they will go down. I think Derby may be stagnating under their owners like we have been doing for the previous 13 years. Forest will finish about where we are at the moment, unless of course we spend big in January. Then it will depend on who we buy. So for Forest, I think somewhere around 6th to 10th place finish. For Derby, I don't think they have a good a SQUAD as us, depth wise, and I would imagine in the coming months they will slip down a few places if they get key players injured. So I think somewhere between 9th and 14 for the Rams. But don't worry too much mate, this comes from a bloke who has had ONE place finish (4th) on the Grand National in the last 40 years!”

“Yes I do agree Micky
We had a dire season 5 years ago and you are the not so hot play off specialists, but to constantly harp on about either is moronic and extremely childish, but if thats how they get their kicks so be it, we know who they are and as i said earlier I know who they are and I ignore their comments
So what about this season? We have a good young side, with great potential in my opinion will just miss out of the play offs, but if Nigel can keep the squad together for next season I am really hopeful of a good push. Some of our young players are extremely talented and if we can keep the vultures at bay we could go along way with them
You have bought seriously in the close season, are you good enough for for a push this season or is it too early
Could it be a Derby, Forest for first and second next season
Over to you Micky”

“DCFCOK Sorry if I offended you. You are NOT one of the sad Derby fans that seem to spend their entire existence on this site. For me, you are welcome to come on here and take the p, now and again. Like you say, as I do occasionally on your site. What I was alluring to was those Forest obsessed idiots (mainly Derby fans, but there are others) we have on here daily. Basically copy and pasting what they said in their previous posts all day long. And generally bringing the level of debate down to their level. As you say, I do visit rival fans forums now and again, and I can say, none of them seem to have this problem to the degree that we have. I would like to hear your views on your compatriots that do this. Basically, do you think they are morons or not?”

“I didnt say you were obsessive Micky I was stating a view point. I dont post on this site too often either, but it is good to have good old fashioned banter with your local rivals. I do agree with you though that some of the drivel that gets posted is ludicrous, when I see who has posted I ignore and move to the next one, I enjoy proper football banter
Have a good Christmas”

“DCFCOK Think you will find about five posts in the last year from me on the Derby site. Hardly counts as obsessive, does it?”

“Micky
why do you criticise Derby fans for posting on this site? You post on the DET site, is it one rule for one and one rule for another?
Its a free country just get on with it”
