NOTTINGHAM Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has backed a national campaign to help people better manage their debts.

The CAB office in Carrington Street, in the city centre, is located in one of 56 "repossession hotspots" identified by the Government.

Residents in the areas are also classed as being at greater risk of losing their homes due to having higher levels of unemployment and repossession court orders. The bureau is working with other organisations in the Advice Nottingham group to provide free advice to people in debt.
