KURTIS Luke Marshall, 21, of Dennis Avenue, Beeston, will face a trial accused of having a knuckle duster in Dennis Avenue on September 23. He is on unconditional bail until his next court appearance at his trial on March 15.

PAUL Anthony Wilson, 30, of Woodfield Road, Broxtowe Estate, was fined £100 and banned from the roads for three years. He pleaded guilty to having 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was caught driving over the limit in Flamstead Road, Strelley, on November 5 last year. He also has to pay a victim surcharge of £15.

ANN Cassidy, 31, from Deepdene Way, Bells Lane estate, Aspley, received a community order and must do 50 hours of unpaid work for two offences. She was found guilty of failing to inform Nottingham City Council about a change in her circumstances, that she was living with a Malcolm Wilson, between March 1, 2007, and September 21, 2008. This change would have affected her entitlement to benefit. She was further convicted after her trial in January of not informing the Department for Work and Pensions of the same change in her circumstances.

DENISE Thornhill, 50, of Priory Road, Thurgarton, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Bleasby Road, Thurgarton, in a Mini Cooper on January 19. She had 125 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol. She was given unconditional bail until her next court appearance on February 16.

RYAN Duane Everitt Smith, 18, of Edmonstone Crescent, Bestwood, denied assaulting a female in Nottingham on January 31. After he entered his not guilty plea, he was given conditional bail to return to court for a trial on April 3.

PAUL Andrew Lee, 33, of Fenwick Road, Broxtowe, pleaded not guilty to assaulting a female in Broxtowe on January 24. He was given conditional bail until his trial on March 29.

ANTHONY William George Stevens, 28, of The Elms, Colwick, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words in Carlton on January 28. He was fined £35, has to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85. His guilty plea was taken into account when sentence was imposed.

RYAN Baker, 18, from Hands Road, Heanor, has to pay £16 compensation to the victim of an assault on November 18 in Eastwood. He previously admitted that he assaulted her by beating her. Magistrates gave him a community order and 80 hours of unpaid work. He also has to pay £85 towards the cost of the prosecution.

ANDREW Paul Clay, 20, of Kingswood Road, Wollaton, has been fined £130 and banned from driving for three years after he was caught drink-driving in Radford on January 22. He admitted he had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. After entering his guilty plea, he was told he must also pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

EDWARD Dougal, 46, of Chedworth Close, Sneinton, appeared in court accused of having a meat cleaver and kitchen knife in Sneinton on January 20. He was given unconditional bail to next appear at court on February 23.

KYLE Dale Pilkington, 18, of Valley Road, Kimberley, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Kimberley on January 21. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months.

SAMUEL Lester Riley, 25, of Cyril Avenue, Aspley, was fined £250 and banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Ford Escort van in Mapperley on December 2. He had 101 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams. Riley will also pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

ANDREW Kevin Robinson, 41, of Nottingham Road, Eastwood, denied using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in The Meadows on December 22. He is on conditional bail until his trial on March 30 at 2pm at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
