Neilson's shirt No.77 retired on Panthers' celebration night
COREY Neilson -- the most successful coach in Nottingham Panthers' long history as well as being one of their best-ever defencemen -- has had his shirt number 77 retired by the club after leading them to their first league title triumph for 57 years.
The announcement came just before they were officially presented with the trophy by world boxing champion Carl Froch after a pulsating 4-3 penalty shots victory over Cardiff Devils at a packed National Ice Centre.
