Neil Young confirms city gig
NEIL Young, the legendary figure of American folk-rock behind the songs Heart of Gold, Like a Hurricane and Rockin' in a Free World, is to play Nottingham for the first time later this year.
Tickets for his date at the Trent FM Arena on Tuesday June 23 will go on sale on Monday March 2.

It will follow the release of a new studio album Fork In The Road.
Young, who along with Bruce Springsteen is rumoured to be playing this year's Glastonbury Festival, will be joined on the tour by band members, Ben Keith, Rick Rosas, Chad Cromwell, Pegi Young and Anthony Crawford.
Tickets are £45 and £50.

“We travel to New York for two gigs in 2007, chase around the UK in March 2008, drive to Kent in July, emigrate to California - see NY in Navada and then, after all that.....he is playing Nottingham!! 25 minutes from Long Eaton. Don't know whether to laugh or cry!”
