GRASSROOTS animal rights campaigners are holding a national gathering in Nottingham.

There will be a planning meeting on Sunday, January 10, at the Sumac Centre, in Gladstone Street, Forest Fields, for anyone interested in helping to organise the event, either in a practical way or with an input into the workshop programme. Send at e-mail to nar@veggies.org.uk to attend.

The gathering itself will be in Old Market Square from noon on Saturday, March 13.
