Professor Mike Cooke CBE, chief executive of Nottinghamshire Healthcare said: "This year was an extra-special Oscars as we celebrated the tenth anniversary of this fantastic scheme. We have seen many deserving winners over the years, which makes me very proud, and tonight we recognised more teams and individuals who are continuing to exceed in what they do and achieve exceptional results to the benefit of our service users and patients.
"Due to the continuing economic situation we understand that some organisations have felt that they should cancel events such as the Oscars. However, we believe at times like this it is even more important to recognise and thank our staff and volunteers for the tremendous contribution they make. Their hard work is truly valued and makes a real difference to everyone who uses our services."
