Motorist freed from wreckage of crash
ONE person had to be freed from the wreckage of a four-car crash outside a busy shopping complex yesterday.
Fire crews from Alfreton and Ashfield fire stations were called to the collision at 3.05pm outside the East Midlands Designer Outlet in Mansfield Road, close to the M1 near Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Notts Fire and Rescue Service said the person rescued was treated by the ambulance service. Notts Police also attended the incident.
