Meter reveals energy that park generates
BUSINESSES are used to keeping a close eye on the amount of electricity they are using.
But firms at one city business park are now getting used to a meter which tells them how much energy they are generating instead.
The Telewatts display is available to the businesses based at the No.1 Nottingham Science Park developed by private-public partnership Blueprint.
It gives a breakdown of the energy used by an office and compares it with the amount generated by solar panels which have recently been fitted to the building.
The display has been developed by the Nottingham company OuterArc.
Ben Randal, OuterArc's chief executive said: "Telewatts provides a way to reach people with information that might otherwise go unnoticed."
