Meeting to discuss financial strategy
CITY councillors will meet today to discuss their financial strategy for the year from April 1.
The city council audit meeting will propose a strategy for borrowing and investment.
According to the council's report, debts from money raised to finance capital expenditure are projected to rise from £788 million at the close of this financial year to £802 million next year.
The report will be further considered by the executive board on February 19 and then submitted for formal approval on March 4.
