DERBYSHIRE residents will meet to discuss crime and policing in Sandiacre.

Residents from Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Risley, Sawley, Breaston, Draycott, Borrowash and Ockbrook will be at the Memorial Hall, Doncaster Avenue, on October 8 from 7pm.

Inspector Matthew Thompson, responsible for policing in Long Eaton, will answer questions.

He said: "This will be a great opportunity for local residents to find out about policing in their area and to ask any questions or raise specific concerns."
