GOALSCORER Lewis McGugan was pleased with Forest's resilience as they secured a precious point in a 2-2 draw with QPR.

McGugan said the Reds could have let their heads drop after conceding two goals so soon after his 45th-minute penalty put them ahead.

"I thought we fought back well against a very good team," he said.

"That is a vital point for us. The manager has come in and asked us to do things a bit differently and I think we have responded well to that.

"We have been on a good run but we have achieved nothing yet. We have a few tough games coming up now but, if we want to be away from the relegation zone, we have got to start picking points up from these games against teams at the top of the league."
