Masked burglars armed with knife, hammer, and large stick raid Bestwood Park home
MASKED burglars armed with a knife, hammer and large stick have raided a family home in bestwood Park – leaving a 66-year-old man injured.
The three men targeted a house in Hazel Hill Crescent at about 8.30pm on Wednesday, February 13.

A 66-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his head and hand. His wife, 63, and his son, 25 suffered minor bruising.
The men fled from the property empty-handed and ran down an alley towards Beckhampton Road.

Two of the offenders are black and the third is possibly mixed race. They were all wearing black hooded tops, facial coverings, black gloves and were in their late teens. One is about 5ft 8in tall and the other two are about 6ft tall.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have either witnessed the incident or have any information relating to it to contact them as soon as possible on 101.
