Mansfield Town boss delighted with his side's resolve
MANSFIELD Town boss Paul Cox believes his side is getting back to the one that reached the play-offs last season.
The Stags secured a fourth consecutive away league victory by beating Southport 2-1 at the weekend.
And Cox said: "We are slowly looking like the team of last year, hard to beat and effective going forward.
"It is a really tough place to come and in the circumstances, wondering would the lads get there because of the weather, it was a great win because other results went for us as well.

"We started sloppy but after the first 15 minutes, we controlled it. With a bit more belief in the final third, we could have had more goals."
The slow start is one thing that does concern the Stags boss, but he is looking to put it right ahead of tomorrow night's home game with Nuneaton, which is already a doubt because of the snow.
Striker Jake Speight could be back by the end of February after knee surgery showed his injury was not as bad as first feared.
