Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox happy to play waiting game on signings
MANSFIELD Town boss Paul Cox insists he will stay patient over potential signings – and not be forced into any rash decisions.
The Stags boss is chasing Fleetwood defender Steve McNulty, as well as a midfielder and striker who both play in the Football League.
He says his targets are in high demand and understands he has to play a waiting game.
The Stags have no game today, as scheduled opponents Wrexham are in FA Trophy action but he says there is a chance something could happen before Tuesday's trip to Hereford.

But he added: "I am speaking to players and we are not a million miles away but these lads have a lot of clubs trying to sign them.
"You have to be patient and I'll be honest, if I cannot get the right people who I want, I won't just go out signing others for the sake of it.
"I have a squad showing hunger and desire at the minute, wanting to break into the first team, and I am not going to affect that by bringing in players for the sake of it.
"But those I want to make the squad stronger I will keep talking to and hope to bring them to Mansfield Town."
