Man shot in face with air pistol
A MISTERTON man has been charged following an incident in which a 40-year-old man was shot in the face with an air pistol.
Deon Caley, aged 48, of Grovewood Road, was charged yesterday with possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and wounding.

He is due to appear before magistrates today.
The incident happened at about 1.15pm on Wednesday 11 April in the grounds of the Misterton Methodist Church in High Street, Misterton.

The weapon has been recovered by police.
The victim is currently recovering at home as he awaits a date to have the pellet lodged behind his eye surgically removed.
