Man shot in arm in The Meadows
A 28-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital after apparently being shot in the arm in The Meadows last night.
The incident happened near the Bridgeway Centre just before 10pm.
Police were called to reports of a firearm being discharged.
The man received non life-threatening injuries to his arm and is receiving hospital treatment.

In no way did I **** off the Meadows having lived there myself a while back, and one of my oldest friends folks live there. There are much worse places to live in Notts. But off the cuff or not I made a valid point about something that angered a lot of people throughout Nottingham and the poor victim had very little publicity. Finally, why did my comment tar everyone who lives there with the same brush?”

“Well erm , I live in this area , I haven't heard any bad goings on in quite a few years , and things that happened YEARS ago , is not fair to stereotype and generalise an entire area.
