Man killed after being hit by a lorry on A60 Mansfield Road in Sherwood is still unnamed
POLICE are still waiting to formally identify an 88-year-old man killed after being hit by a lorry in Sherwood.
The pedestrian was knocked down in Mansfield Road at around 2.30pm on Tuesday. It is expected he will be named by Friday. Police cordoned off a section of the road within which were two Wilkinson lorries and the 87 Arnold bus.
The road remained blocked for four hours. No arrests have been made.
