“Thank you to everyone who helped support, assist, comfort and rescue our son Martin. He is stable in hospital. Has some serious injuries. but seems to be responding to treatment. We can't thank those people enough who stopped (when so many people don't) for their support and kindness. If anyone would like to contact us they could do so through Nottinghamshire police or Nottingham evening post. Thanks Again. Steve & Gill”

“We were in the car infront of this crash and along with others assisted/comforted Martin as best we could before the paramedic arrived. The crash was very bad and our thoughts have been with Martin all day. We would love to know how Martin is doing if anyone knows.
Our thoughts are also with Martins family.
    Jen and Mike”
