A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of Stuart Lownds.

Robert Mather, from Bestwood, was due to appear before Nottingham Magistrates this morning.

Mr Lownds, 18, was found with knife wounds in Teviot Road, Bestwood Estate, at around 2.30am on Saturday.

The teenager, who lives on Teviot Road, underwent emergency heart surgery at the Queen's Medical Centre but was pronounced dead on Monday afternoon.
