Tennis: Magdala won their first match of the season in the Notts LTA Ladies' Winter League Division One with a hard-fought win at Musters.

Danielle Fynney and Mandy Mellors were the visitors' top couple with 23 games, with Beth Mallalue and Gina Ofield winning 18 games. Caroline Milns and Sarah Dexter won 23 games for Musters.

Lady Bay maintained their unbeaten run in Division Two to open up a lead at the top with a good away win against third-placed Burton Joyce.

Katie Taylor and Lauren Trigg were the top couple with 30 games.

Collingham also remain unbeaten and moved into second following a home win against Burton Joyce and an away win against Southwell.

Beryl Jones and Jill Beardsell, along with Jo Richmond and Pat Wood, were the dominant couples in both matches.

David Lloyd West Bridgford won their third consecutive match to move into second in Division Three following a win at Woodthorpe A.

Jasmeet Kaler and Aileen Kynoch were the top couple with 26 games, backed up by Abbie Chambers and Laura Wright with 23 games.

Attenborough moved away from the bottom following a win against West Bridgford B.

Retford maintained their winning streak to move into second place in Division 5B, behind Wollaton, with an away win against third-placed Caunton A. Fiona Palmer and Elaine Williams were the top couple with 25 games.
