Talent scouts: Hundreds of Scouts and Guides from Notts take to the stage at Nottingham's Theatre Royal next week for their Gang Show. The variety show is held at the Theatre Royal every two years and showcases the talents of more than 200 youngsters, And this year's two-and-a-half hour show, playing for a full week, is set to see record ticket sales. The run begins on Monday until Saturday, March 28 with a dazzling mix of singing, dancing and comedy. Eight-year-old Rachel Sims said; "I never in a million years thought that joining the Scouts and Guides would get me singing and dancing on stage in front of thousands of people!"
