PREMIERSHIP leaders Marquis of Rileys suffered a shock 6-3 defeat at Cricketers in the Nottingham & District League. Ashley Raynor took the match-winning frame.

Second-placed Rileys Ponda cruised to a 7-2 win at Basford Hall MW with Mark Snowshall (Basford) and Rob Duckett (Ponda) both getting eight-ballers. Matt Tugby made sure of the points.

Connie's New Station overcame Bank 6-3, Kevin Raven and Matt Coates doing the damage. Bottom side Test Match had a 5-4 win at March Hare, Mark Howell sealing the victory.

First Division leaders Hubble Bar hammered Old Volunteer 8-1, with landlord Aram Ashtari getting a eight-baller.

Gregory overcame Pheasant Inn 5-4, the pairing of Amjad Mohammed and Naeem Mohammed clinching it.

Sycamore Inn beat bottom side Phoenix Reds 6-3, captain Sam Nuqul securing the match. Queen Adelaide A had a 5-4 win over Carlton & District Constitutional Club through Steve Foster in the last leg.

Pheasant Inn moved out of the relegation zone when pipped Old Volunteer 5-4 as Adrian Johnson did the damage.

Robin Hood went level on points with leaders Vernon Vipers at the top of Division Two after winning 5-4 at New Engine House, thanks to Stefan Tinsley in the deciding frame.

Spot On Mondays had a 6-3 win at the Castle, Matt Doherty sealing the points. Building Trades SC moved off the bottom and leap-frogged over Grey Goose when they beat them 6-3.

Inn For A Penny went back to the top of Division Three after beating Mad Rabbit 6-3, Scott Wheatley and Keith Simm doing the damage. Rileys Rockets hammered relegated Starting Gate 8-1.

Promoted Fourth Division leaders Spot On Misfits suffered an 8-1 defeat at the New Carrington through Jimmy Hyand. Cavendish sealed promotion after winning 7-2 against Pride of Erin, Liam Noon and Jim Gilman taking the promotion-winning leg.

Promoted Fifth Division leaders Greyfriars Club went down 5-4 to Poets Corner as Craig Baptiste took two wins out of two. Moulders Arms overcame Bricklayers Arms 5-4, Dean winning the last leg.
