Lady Bay march on
LADY Bay continued their impressive form in the men's Division One of the Notts LTA Winter League, with wins against Musters and David Lloyd West Bridgford.
Musters gave up home advantage because their courts were snowbound, to give Lady Bay the edge, and in the match against David Lloyd, Peter Godber and Tom Ellis were the top couple with 24 games. Lady Bay are unbeaten and move clear at the top, ahead of Mapperley Park who are also unbeaten.
Farnsfield A maintained their unbeaten run in Division 4A, with a comfortable home win against Magdala B to move well clear at the top. Richard Dickens and Neil Linfield were the leading couple with 29 games.
The Park also continued their unbeaten run at the top of Division 5B, with an impressive home win against second-placed Lady Bay A.
David Meads and Patrick Foley were the leading couple with 25 games. Nick Mitchell and Max Bailey chipped in with 24 games.
Lady Bay B remain the team to beat in Division 6A following their home win against Bingham A. Peter Penny and Ben Roberts were the top couple with 25 games.
Sutton Bonington won their first match of the season, at home to Grantham. Ashley Mace and David Strying were the top couple with 29 games.
