Justin Bieber week: Megan, 15, will be 'screaming inside' if she meets idol Justin
DOZENS of fans have been contacting the Nottingham Post as we gear up to offer a chance to meet Justin Bieber next week.
From 10-year-old girls to 41-year-old mums, fans have been writing in to say how much it would mean for them to meet the star.
Among them is 15-year-old Megan Ibbotson, of Gedling, who has even raised money to try to afford a "meet and greet" ticket to see her idol.
But with the cost at £330, Megan is hoping that the Post's competition could provide an easier way in.
The Carlton le Willows pupil said: "I've been a fan since about 2009 . I love everything. I like his music and how nice he is to his fans.
"He does anything for his fans – he brought pizza for them when they were waiting in the cold, and hot chocolate. He's more like an idol to me."
She joked that if she met him, she would try to act normal but would really be "screaming inside".
But Justin has fans of all ages in Nottingham.
Razeena Haque, 20, of Woolmer Road, The Meadows, says that even at university, she and her friends have pictures of the star on their walls.
"All my friends are into him, even though we're 20," said the Leicester De Montfort student.
"We really like his songs from when he was younger – we like him before he was this popular. We've grown with him."
Post readers will be given the chance to win a meeting with Justin Bieber when the Canadian superstar appears at the Capital FM Arena on Saturday, March 2.
It's part of the Believe Tour, also featuring Canadian starlet Carly Rae Jepsen and upcoming Aussie star Cody Simpson. It will be his first appearance in the city since his sell-out gig in 2011.
Fans just need to buy a copy of the Post on Wednesday to be in with a chance of winning.
Each copy will have a "golden ticket" in it with a unique number. And on Thursday, we will reveal the number of the winning ticket.
As well as meeting Justin Bieber, the winner will walk away with a Motorola.
