Justin Bieber meet and greet 'lasted for only 20 seconds'
JUSTIN Bieber has come under fire after some fans left his Nottingham concert feeling let down.
The teenage pop star was an hour late on stage at the Capital FM Arena on Saturday – some people had to leave because they had young children.
And those who paid for a meet and greet were also upset – saying that after a two-hour wait their experience lasted "no more than 20 seconds".
Rachel Leslie paid £330 a ticket for her and her daughter Freya, 14, to meet Bieber.

They arrived at 2.30pm to start queuing for check-in at 3.45pm but no one was allowed through until 5.55pm.
"The value of the tickets isn't an issue for me as the whole experience was for my teenage daughter and the look on her face was going to be priceless," said Mrs Leslie, of Newark.
"I was very much mistaken – she came out and was absolutely distraught about the whole thing – she didn't even want to stay for the show.
"When we eventually got in there it was click, click and we were ushered out again – the whole thing lasted no more than 20 seconds. I spoke to so many people afterwards and they were all very disappointed, and when we came out there were kids everywhere in floods of tears, not because they'd met him, but because it was over so quickly."
Afterwards Mrs Leslie met other family, including her six-year-old daughter, to see the show, which was due to start at 9pm. Bieber appeared on stage at 10pm.
Mrs Leslie said: "The little kids were worn out. We didn't get back to Newark until 1am.
"At the end of the day these kids have been fans from day one and this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them and it's gone completely out of the window. I'm so upset and disheartened by the whole thing."
Carly Meli, 31, of Bestwood Park, gave her son, seven, and daughter, four, tickets for Christmas.
"My daughter was just so distraught we had to go before he was even on stage," she said. "There was no apology or anything – I'm disgusted.
"We've got tickets for One Direction later in the year and my daughter is refusing to go after Saturday."
Meanwhile, Caroline Leitch, 46, of Burton Joyce, whose daughter Scarlett won the meet and greet session with Bieber, said: "I thought Scarlett would be disappointed but she was chuffed."
A spokeswoman for Capital FM Arena said: "Unfortunately we were not informed as to why the artist was late, therefore the venue was unable to announce the delay.
"The venue's facilities were used for the meet and greets but the responsibility and management of them lies solely with the promoter and the artist's management team."
Bieber's promoters AEG Live refused to comment.

“He do not recpect his fans at all! What this always showing up late to a consert?? Disrespectfull! 1- 20 sec meet and greet... Lame! I was at a KISS meet and Greet in Oslo in 2008, we got 1 hour with the band! Respect i call that!
This kid need to go into himselfe and try to imagine how it feels to pay to meet someone , and then have to wait to hours and hours and then end up with a meeting under 1 min...
I think this kis shuld stop offering meet and greet when he dont give the fans more than max 1 minute..”

“The reason that justin bieber was late was because he was on "Lets Dance for Comic Relief", as usual, he was doing things for charity. I was at this concert and it was all incredible, easily the best night of my life. For all the people complaining that they didn't get long enough with him for meet and greet, it is a commonly known act that you get less than a minute with him! Check what you are buying before you buy it. He is very hardworking so can everyone please stop the hate!”

“my daughter entered a competition to win meet and greet tickets through bieberfever fan club and she won, only problem being she found out a day to late, they had emailed the wrong email address, she had to state her name age and email address which she did but they clearly took no notice of this and sent it to the email that she entered the competition from. she checked her email all day incase she had won and all the time it was sitting in the wrong email. we even watched the meet and greet line at the 02 that night and she should have been one of them i have emailed them over 100 times contacted newspapers and magazines about her story but no one is interested in what they have done to her, there are lots of complaints about this fan club, still taking money from cancelled members, not sending the photos out or losing photos all together and this is what you pay £99 a year for, someone must be able to help her, she is distraught over this, as she feels her chance has gone forever, as i certainly will not be paying £300 for a ticket next time.”

"10% of his fans left early, 20% of fans demanded their money back, and 30% actually reached puberty by the time he appeared!"
Very good - I liked that!”

“£330 for 20 seconds is just stupid. Some people have more money than sense. And I can't be bothered to go back and read all the comments again but I think jono called sherises a retard before she pointed out her age. Jono is totally right in what he says. He should have apologised for being on so late. JB is a waste of money with no talent, I don't know why anyone would want to go see that unless they are under the age of 10!”

“Jono you're comparing a 19 year old pop singer to Jimmy Saville? hahahaha how irrelevant. And no he wasn't two hours late he was supposed to come out at 9:30 he came out at 10:15, you do the maths. Oh wait you can't even spell so i doubt you can do maths. It's 45 minutes, hardly an hour. And how's he an arrogant little ****? You know absolutely nothing about him except what you read in the media and if that's what influences your opinion on him than you need to stop because most of it is bs.”
