John Lewis staff get 15% bonus
John Lewis staff are to be rewarded with bonuses worth nearly eight weeks wages after profits jumped at the department store group.
The firm, which also owns Waitrose supermarkets, posted a 9.7% rise in profits before tax and bonuses of £306.6 million for the year to January 30.
The results means the firm's 70,000 partners who include more than 1,000 in Notts, will now share a bonus pot of £151.3m, with payments of 15% of salary.

“I hope not...I am a pensioner on a low income....If I want value for money, good service,an unbeatable guarantee then John Lewis is the place to go.....I have dealt with them for many years and recommend their service....They will pay the usual rate of tax on their well deserved bonuses.....don't get it confused with the banking industries "Bonus" on losses.
No I am not employed by J.L. and have no connection with them, only as a happy customer.”
