John Lewis figures flattered by half term
SALES in the department store group John Lewis were up by 16.8 per cent in the first four weeks of the new financial year.
Over the same period to February 23, the Nottingham store saw sales climb by 16.7 per cent.
Sales in the group were up nearly £10 million at £63 million in the week to February 23.
Director Simon Russell said the figures were encouraging.
