Futures Nottingham, In Training and Avon will be attending, as well as JobCentre Plus, the RAF and New College Nottingham.

Ardagh Group, a metal and glass manufacturing company which has a base at Sutton-in-Ashfield, will be offering 60 jobs at the fair. Its site in Wales has recently closed and all production lines will be moving to Sutton-in-Ashfield.

HR adviser Danielle Wardle said: "The new employees will be working on the production of tins and aerosols.

"We will give tips and advice at the fair about what is needed for a job at Ardagh, so I would certainly encourage people to come along."

Michelle Wright, operations director at Futures, said: "Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures is attending the event and will be able to advise the public about its extensive range of careers services for young people and adults.

"Whether you are unemployed and need advice, returning to work or study, looking for a career change or want more information about education, apprenticeships, courses or training, we can help."

Harley Moores, 20, of Nottingham, said: "I lost my job as a hairdresser a couple of weeks ago so went straight to Futures, who have helped me with my CV and now I have an interview coming up.

"The Jobs Fair sounds like a good idea for job-hunters like me."
