January transfer window: Nottingham Forest rumours- Ipswich Town make a move to land Camp
Ipswich Town are poised to sign out of favour Nottingham Forest keeper Lee Camp, according to reports.
Mick McCarthy is closing in on the capture of Camp after Alex McLeish told him he needs to find a new club.

If the Northern Ireland international is to complete a move to Ipswich he will join up with former team mates Luke Chambers and David McGoldrick.
Camp’s performances at Forest have proved him to be one of the best keepers outside the Premier League and McCarthy hopes to land the 28-year-old in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Forest are stepping up their search for an experienced keeper who can replace camp.
Alex McLeish is reported to be monitoring several keepers as he looks to make a permanent signing later this week.
Paul Robinson is still the favourite to be the Reds’ new number one but interest has also been shown in bringing in former international goal keepers Craig Gordon or Robert Green.

“That's right Paul72, it's a sell out because the world famous Nottingham Forest are coming to town. Beats your last big crowd of 27,500 v Wednesday who brought 6,500 along.”

“paul72 We will help you fill your ground for once this season as your last five home gates have been rubbish average 22,000 where have all your fans gone where have all your fans gone they are also fed up with NLN doing absolute nothing for five seasons when will he be sacked.”

“whdgkjhgd... You keep it real and talk a lot of sense on here which is why you get sooooooo many red arrows.
You see, your fellow reds don't like to hear the truth about their tinpot club and prefer to dream about past glory days instead cause it comforts them but you are obviously made of much sterner stuff and don't need no comforting so keep up the good work.
Apparently the caption for the pic above has BIG Wes telling Camp how great it is to move from tinpot-2 shot-no hope-dirty-cheating-back stabbing-going nowhere Florest and moving to a much BIGGER and progressive club such as Leicester.
Camp replies by saying 'Dont worry mate soon as someone BIGGER than Florest such as Peterbrough, Notts county or Ipswich come in for me I'm off!!!'
And so it has come to pass.
Gillette signing a MASSIVE extension to his contract that sees him increasing his release date from 2013 to an incredible 2014 is a true statement of intent from Al-HaHaHaHasawi and has everyone else at tinpot-2 shot etc etc Florest raging with jealousy as to how someone with such a lack of legs can get rewarded in this way. Favouritism is being sugested although personally I think it's just cause its the cheapest option there is.
Boyd is useless and again shows the lack of any ambition or interest from your owners to get you promoted. Where are all the quality signings that a team serious about promotion need to sign?
It's either cheap loans, freebies or poundland specials for you lot and it really is getting quite embarrassing now.
Derby are gonna stuff you in Saturday for sure and not even cheating a goal like you did on Saturday by claiming the ball had crossed the line when it blatantly hasn't is gonna help you.
In the Ginger one (part 2) we suddenly trust (till we lose again next week) ha ha ha ha”

“Boyd playing with confidence is a player with craft, technique and an eye for goal. Make a good squad player, bring him on to help finish off teams. Ironically, Like Peterborough on Saturday.
I trust in AM, he wants success so badly and is seemingly taking no prisionors.”

“Short memories on here-Boyd was truly awful when he was with us on loan-lightweight and ineffective-biggish fish in a tiny pond at posh-not impressed with him on Saturday either but for one well hit shot and one straight at Darlow from close range”

“Oh that is George Boyd and not Kris Boyd I was referring to. Kris Boyd is a good poacher who will get goals but not a work horse.”

“As I remember it Boyd struggled with the required level of fitness when we had him on loan. He is a talented player who makes and scores goals and if he is in top physical form would be an asset to any team but he did look off the pace and lightweight when here before.”

“Jpsderry
well said m8 I always thought Kris Boyd was quality he new where the onion bag was and I'd love him back here just think his wages would be a stumbling block but hey ho. I thinkwe could do with a good solid leftback wonder if psycho would come back, now there's there's wishful thinking
yooooooooooooooooou reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds”
