Iron-man Clarke on Curle's hit list
NOTTS County boss Keith Curle is hoping to nullify the threat of Scunthorpe goal machine Leon Clarke today – and then snap him up in January.
The 27-year-old has bagged ten goals in 11 starts for the struggling Iron while on loan from Charlton this season.
He was a player on Curle's wanted list this summer and the manager knows him from QPR, when he was assistant to boss Neil Warnock.
And he has already spoken to the player's agent about a potential loan move to Meadow Lane at the start of next year.

Scunthorpe this week revealed record yearly losses and have to make further cuts to their budget.
It could leave an opening for the Magpies, if they can strike a deal over wages.
Curle, whose side travel to Scunthorpe in League One today, said: "We had him at QPR and I have spoken to his agent.
"It will be interesting if something can get sorted out with his parent club if we can bring him here to join us in January.
"He is on Championship wages as well but he is a player who has been on our list and I know him personally. We flagged him up.
"He scored goals last season at Chesterfield as well and he knows where the goal is. He has his appetite back for the game.
"And mainly he is playing games. The one thing with Leon is if he is regularly playing games he will score goals."
