Football: Ilkeston FC have pulled out of plans to sign Stafford Rangers striker Danny Quinn.

Boss Kevin Wilson lodged seven days notice for the 22-year-old last week, but his interest has now cooled.

"We had a good chat but Danny won't be joining us," said Wilson. "We have a sound and sensible pay structure at this football club which we are not prepared to break."

Two former Mansfield Town forwards are on the move.

Rory Boulding, who failed to score in 20 League games for the Stags, has been released by Kilmarnock.

And the much-travelled Jefferson Louis, who scored four goals in 18 starts for the Stags in 2008, has joined Brackley Town from Newport.

Former Ilkeston and Derby midfielder, Ben Pringle has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with Rotherham.

Eastwood Town have signed Gregory Smith from Stamford.
