Mr Coulby, of Hillingdon Drive, Ilkeston, was due to face charges of having intercourse with a living animal between February 1 and June 6 last year.

The charges followed police being called to a property in Breaston Lane, Risley, on June 6.

Mr Coulby was also due to face four counts of possessing extreme pornography on June 5.

The Bhatia Best spokesman said that Mr Coulby had never been convicted under the charges he faced and proceedings against him were at the plea and directions stage.

The case was due to be mentioned at Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow but is understood to be in the process of being removed from the court list.

“a pervert dies and you all feel sorry for him..
what else has he done, or what else is he into ??
children, fantasy rapes, or BDSM ??

maybe the horse thing was just a start, or maybe he did other things we are yet to find out about...

at least it's one less pervert to worry about, and a few quid of the tax payers money saved.”

“So Mr Coulby faced charges of having intercourse with a living animal? Like having sex with a dead one would be any less sick?”

“If he was guilty,it is a very despicable thing to do.However,if he was not,the press coverage may have contributed to his death. Also despicable.”

“Whatever we may all think about the accusations, Mr Coulby has been publicly humiliated and has had his photograph very prominently displayed at every opportunity by this Newspaper even before any verdict in Court.
I specialise in posting fecitious comments on "News stories" and it doesn t take much wit to do so here but i on this occasion i can only comment on the editorial decline of a newspaper that once had stature.
Might be appropriate to add condolences to any of his loved ones - and no don t even go there thank you,”
