Hucknall tram accident: Police appeal to trace passengers

Detectives investigating the death of a teenage girl following a collision with a tram are keen to trace passengers who were travelling on the tram.

It happened around 7pm on Wednesday 28 November 2012, near to the junction of Hucknall Lane and Nottingham Road, in Hucknall. 

Lindsey Marie Inger, 13, of Bulwell died from serious injuries sustained in the collision. 

Det Inspector Ged Hazelwood of the Crash Investigation Unit, said: "We know there were several passengers on the tram when the crash happened, but some of them left the scene without leaving their contact details or speaking to police.

"We need to identify them and find out what they saw on Wednesday evening.
