A GROUP which supports children's play schemes has been nominated for a share of funding from a supermarket chain.

Waitrose will donate money to Playworks, in St Ann's, as part of its national scheme to help charities and community groups.

Playworks is asking people to go to the Waitrose store in Trinity Square to deposit tokens – the more it receives, the more cash it gets.
