Notts Police have warned motorists of other road closures in Woodborough, Lambley, Linby, the A614 at White Post Farm and Spion Kop, near Mansfield.

Flood alerts have been placed along parts of the River Trent in Notts.

It follows chaos caused by heavy snow on Friday evening, leading to night buses out of the city being cancelled and reports of cars being abandoned by the side of the M1.
