DAYBROOK Patient Group is having a Health Promotion Day on Monday.

There will be information and advice about managing weight, giving up smoking and medicines management.

The event is at Daybrook Health Centre from 9am to 1pm.

A cookery demonstration by professionals is also taking place, and there be giveaways including gym passes. Group members will serve tea and 'healthy' cakes. Donations in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care will be gratefully received.
