HMV will honour gift cards, administrators pledge
THE administrators to HMV have confirmed that gift cards can be redeemed in stores from today.
And proceeds raised by HMV through the sale of charity releases including the Hillsborough Justice Collective single will be paid in full as soon as possible.
The chain has one store in the Victoria Centre and which also owns Fopp, in Queen Street. Twenty-five people work at HMV in Nottingham and around ten are employed at Fopp.
Nick Edwards, Joint Administrator, said: "Since our appointment as Joint Administrators on Tuesday afternoon, we have been urgently assessing the Companies' financial position.
