HMV closes another store
HMV is to close its store on Wheeler Gate tomorrow, leaving Nottingham city centre with just one branch.
It follows the closure of the Lister Gate store in September.
The branch employs 15 staff, who have now entered a period of consultation, but HMV hopes to move as many as possible to other stores.
Gennaro Castaldo, spokesman for HMV, said: "I can confirm that we are closing our Wheeler Gate branch at the end of the week – mainly as there is another HMV store relatively close by in the Victoria Centre.
