Gunter calls for a repeat of Forest's defensive resolve
CHRIS Gunter wants Nottingham Forest to show the same defensive resolve at Leicester as they did in their win over Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The full-back was delighted with the clean sheet that helped Forest to a 1-0 success over Gordon Strachan's play-off chasing side.

It was the second clean sheet the Reds had achieved in two matches, following the 1-0 success over Sheffield United.
And the Welsh international says the same kind of defensive determination can help Forest bounce back to winning ways on their travels when they make the short trip to face the Foxes, as they look to keep in touch with promotion rivals West Brom and Newcastle.
"We can't influence what West Brom do, all we can do is look forward to our next game at Leicester," he said. "And they will be looking to get one over on us after the beating we gave them here.
"But we need to get back to being solid away, as we were during the unbeaten run.
"It has been disappointing in the last few games, so we need to get back to performing away from home.
"We have won nine games at home on the bounce now, we need to start reflecting that kind of form away again. If we can do that, it will lead to success."
Gunter was impressed with Forest's battling spirit against Boro.
"We knew it would be a battle before the game, although it wasn't as much of a football match as we had expected," he said.
"It is sometimes satisfying when you don't play your best, but you still manage to get a positive result.
"It didn't really happen for us, we never got going. The manager said at half time that the game could come down to one chance or to one set piece.
"The way Chris took his goal was brilliant really. That was probably the one decent opportunity during the game – so the Gaffer was probably right.
"We had to defend in the last ten or 15 minutes, but I thought we did really well. We have kept back-to-back clean sheets now and that is important.
"That is why we are getting success. If you keep a clean sheet you only need one goal and we have always felt that we had the players, going forward, to get that.
"We didn't play that well going forward, but we made the most of the chance we got."
And the defender believes Forest can be encouraged by their recent home form.
"These were two really tough games, Middlesbrough have players who have played in the Premiership. They have some quality players. We knew it wasn't going to be easy," he said.
"We did not have a right to win, we had to earn it. And that was the pleasing thing, because we stayed calm and didn't panic.
"In recent home games we had gone ahead quite early. We had to stick at it on Saturday, we had to keep calm.
"We want to come out and score as quickly as possible, but sometimes you have to be calm when it doesn't happen for you.
"It was a brilliant goal, but we work on stuff like that in training every day, so it must be brilliant for the manager to see things like that come off."
