A CHIEF executive who blew the whistle on a £1 billion fraud is to tell his story in Nottingham.

Michael Woodford, the former CEO of Japanese firm Olympus, is the guest speaker at a lecture at Nottingham University Business School on Tuesday.

The audience will hear how Mr Woodford, as the newly-appointed president of the digital camera and medical systems company, discovered accounting fraud on a massive scale in 2011.

Ahead of his talk, Mr Woodford said: "It is very personal to me that the lessons from those frightening months of 2011 and 2012 are disseminated as widely as possible as I care passionately about the truth and by sharing what happened to me and my family. I hope it will make the business world a little more open and encourage individuals that if they see wrongdoing they should challenge it."

“Here's another fraud everyone should be aware of - the Amway Tool Scam. Google "Stop The Amway Tool Scam Wordpress" for more information, and forward this information to every non-Distributor/IBO you know, so they don't get ripped off.”
