Group in court over firebombing of Nottingham police station
A GROUP of people appeared at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday, accused of firebombing Canning Circus police station.
They are charged with arson with intent to endanger life and violent disorder in the attack on the station at about 10pm on August 9. It was hit by petrol bombs.

Some of the accused are under 18 and cannot be identified for legal reasons. Their trial will be on April 16 and will last up between four to five weeks.
Among those who can be named are Roxwell Yeboah, 34, of Wolsely Road, Radford; Antany cor Edwards, 23, of Noel Street, Hyson Green; Harrison McCalla, 21, of Carlswark Gardens, Top Valley; Greg Coleman, 20, of Bells Lane, Broxtowe; Ashton Alexander, 19, of Radford Road, New Basford; Reiss Wilson, 21, of West Bridgford; Curtis Dejean, 19, of Aspley; and Callum Powell, 19, of Jarrow Gardens, Top Valley, and Shaundre Robinson, 22, of Scotholme Avenue, Hyson Green.
