Great Success at Long Eaton Tetsudo Club and Student Of The Year Presentation
Each year the Long Eaton Tetsudo Martial Arts Club selects one adult and one junior student to receive the coveted student of the year award. This year was no exception and pictured here with their trophies are the chosen students, the club is proud to announce that Pete Edson (adult) and Jade Shaw (junior) are the 2012 winners.
The Award is handed out annually by Black Belt instructor Nigel Law to the students who have shown consistent effort throughout the year, while also representing the true spirit of the art-form in their thoughts and actions.

Students of the Year
Tetsudo is a unique martial art which originated in Tibet enables you to improve your Fitness, Flexibility, Strength and Confidence, with an emphasis on Self Control, it incorporates a blend of combat skills and artistic movement suitable for all ages helping each student achieve their full potential they have within themselves.
We hold weekly children's classes at the Martial Arts Centre Long Eaton suitable for young people from the age of seven. Their sessions are focused on fun, fitness and self discipline and we always aim to reward their efforts and build their confidence. This format has been such a great success, that at the moment, the class is fully subscribed and we are operating a waiting list, there are a few adult places still available at West Park Leisure Centre Club and we are currently offering a six week workshop for only £12.00
