Giants are conquered
WEST Bridgford Giants found U15 Division Two (Saturday) leaders Carlton Town too hot to handle in a thrilling match which Town won 4-2.
Reece Mellor scored his 23rd goal of the season, whilee Juan Gray, Ellis Alcock and Omar Linda also netted as Town maintained their 100% record. Dean Wykes scored both Giants' goals taking his tally to 14.
Wollaton Hall Yellow continue to keep the pressure on the leading two as first-half goals from Daniel Bowers and Tom Cumberland gave them a 2-0 win over Rolls Royce Leisure.
Leon Hawkins rattled in four as Gedling Southbank Red ran out comfortable winners against Edwalton Cavaliers, while a solitary first-half goal was enough to give West Bridgford Eagles victory at Hucknall Sports White, doubling their points tally in the process.

Clifton Aces added three more points to their tally as they beat Wollaton Hall Green 4-1. Victory was virtually assured as Aces built a 3-1 first-half advantage and added one more after the break.
Gedling Southbank Blue maintained their 100% record, but not without a struggle at Bingham Town.
The home side's performance belied their lowly position as they made Southbank battle until the final whistle before losing 3-2.
