Gedling MP to sell Downing Street bike
FORMER Gedling MP Andrew Mitchell is selling the bicycle that made national headlines, according to reports.
Mr Mitchell, who represented Gedling for ten years, is said to be selling the bike that became famous when he was stopped from riding it through the main gates at Downing Street. He swore at the police who stopped him.
Thieves have twice tried to steal the bike. Money raised will go to charity.
