SCOUTS and Guides from Notts will see months of rehearsals come to fruition at their annual Gang Show next month.

Last week they had their first full rehearsal at Nottingham's Theatre Royal.

Cub Scout Benjamin Raven, nine, from the 2nd Beeston troop, said: "I've been practising my words and learning the dances for ages.

"Being on a real stage felt cool, I can't wait to perform there for real now."

The Gang Show is a variety show featuring more than 200 young Scouting and Guiding performers. Its week-long run is seen by almost 8,500 people. This year's show is from Monday, March 23, to Saturday, March 28.
