Just Another was recorded in the EM studio at Confetti and it has been aired on key shows throughout this week, including Fearne Cotton's mid-morning show, Scott Mills' afternoon show, plus the drive-time show hosted by Greg James.
"It's amazing news for the band, for us at the label and for Nottingham's already impressive music scene," says Denizen boss Pete Fletcher.
"I got one bar into the first track on their demo when I knew we had to sign them.
"Over the last year we've been building their profile, recording songs and playing gigs, including Splendour, Tramlines and Summer Sundae festivals."
The band have just finished their first European tour supporting Rolo Tomassi and they'll be at the Bodega tomorrow night for a headline gig.
"Kappa Gamma are testament to what can be achieved when you match the right training with the right opportunities," says Confetti's managing director Craig Chettle.
"Confetti's close proximity to real creative businesses such as Denizen Recordings, but also Spool – our award-winning TV and film production company, which has worked on This Is England and the Bafta-winning Tyrannosaur – means that our students have access to opportunities and experiences that they wouldn't get at other colleges and universities.
"Our college mantra is if you can dream it, do it and, thanks to Pete Fletcher, Kappa Gamma's talent was recognised and nurtured and the band is now set to soar.
"I hope Kappa Gamma's success inspires our current crop of students to realise their dreams".
BBC Introducing have also tipped the band as Ones To Watch in 2013.
