EIGHTEEN students from Central College Nottingham travelled to the Gambia.

The first and second-year students on Btec sport courses visited five schools and put on activity sessions for more than 800 schoolchildren.

They also donated sport kits, footballs and tennis balls.

Diane Garfield, community and performance sport manager at the college, said: "This was an amazing opportunity for students."
